I haven't seen a Spring 2018 thread started for SPC nursing hopefuls so I decided to start one. I am very eager and anxious and I know a lot of you are too. So who else is applying for the Nursing program at St. Pete College for the spring?
A little bit about me. I have a BS in Psych and returning for nursing. I have all my prereqs completed and have a 3.66 GPA.. I have A's in all my sciences except Mirco Lab I have a B. I am super nervous about my GPA knowing that many others have better GPAs. I am holding out hope that other people will apply to other programs. Also historically the Spring is less competitive. I am hoping to get in for the night classes. The application opens on July 1st so we can apply in 3 days!!! Then wait for what will feel like forever. The suspense is already killing me.

Hey guys, I'm applying for the spring semester as well. Was originally going to try to get in fall 17, but that didn't workout so well with my missing stats class and a 3.814 gpa! Depending on how stats goes this summer ill have with 30/30 credits and either a 3.833 or 3.733. I'm feeling hopeful about getting accepted for spring but if for some reason i don't, I think Galen will be the way that i go.
Hi Everyone! I'm anxiously counting down the days until we find out! I have a 3.9 GPA with a B in AP 1. I have heard stores of people not getting in! Any advise?
Okay so I would like to apply for Spring 2018, but I haven't taken Psychology or a computer class. I have a 3.71 GPA and live in Pinellas County. Do you think it would be worth it to apply and take Psych during this fall semester?
@ninav30 There is a computer test you are able to take to fufill the class. As for psych I would recommend taking it, 100% of students accepted have all classes completed. Best of luck!
@NursingGirl1122 I think your chance sound great. I think you are getting in. It is solely based on points and GPA and you have that.. I hope my 3.66 is good enough. 99 more days until we know!
Quick update...I finished this summer semester with A's in both Micro Lecture and Lab!! So thats puts me at a 3.9 GPA with all credits complete. Fingers crossed and Good luck to everybody!!
