SPC Spring 2021 Applicants

Hello everyone! I figured I'd get a thread going for those of us who are going to apply for the Spring 2021 nursing at St Pete College. I am currently taking MCB2010 and MCB2010L and Stats for the Summer semester. I applied for the fall application with a 3.7 GPA, but obviously didn't have all 30 points for the courses. I knew fall was a long shot, so here's to staying the course and continuing on towards the dream! Let's connect with each other and support each other, as we are all on the same journey! I am newer to the Clearwater area, and always looking for additional study buddies or friends. My bf and I are both applying for Spring. I love creating helpful study guides, graphics, etc. I'm also a hairstylist who only works weddings, so Covid has made it harder to work and "free" time has increased, more time for studying! I hope y'all are well, and I look forward to chatting with everyone about our goals and just generally supporting each other during the big wait!

I waited for a few days to get my results done. You proceed to the individual bathroom stall, you are private,  don't worry,  you just only need to leave your bag outside.

Better to restrain from alcohol for a few days before the screening and go for a intense workout.

On the castlebranch website it requires you to upload a CPR ceritification what if you don't have one? Is it mandatory to have CPR certification before classes begin?

Hey everyone!

How is everything going? I was wondering if anyone would be able to give me some insight on how their schedules are looking? 

Did you get days or night? and what times are your classes? are they online because or Covid or are we still able to go to the class rooms?

I am planning to reapply next month for the Fall 2021 term so I'm a bit anxious to get any new information ?

Hi DaniLynn,

I have morning schedule. Tuesday is my clinical days however going to physical sites got pushed back due to Covid. Some Wednesday I have simulation and Thursday is theory. Tuesday is in class and Wednesday and Thursday are on zoom. Good luck. I hope you get in for fall.

Hey guys. Quick question. I only have 21/30 of the credits. Is there still a chance for me for this coming Spring 2022 or should I just give it up?

Thats alot of credit behind but you should just apply anyways! you could be put on the alternate list and maybe get picked up later. I think they have picked up 50 alternates already for the fall term. No hurt in applying while finishing your classes
