SPC Nursing Fall 2018

Hey Everyone!

Thought I would be the first person to start a SPC Nursing Fall 2018 thread. Even though we still have one semester left before applying, I thought I would start a thread to get the ball rolling and to see where everyone stands. If are applying for the program in Fall of 2018, please let us know the amount of credits you will have at the time of applying and what your cumulative and program GPA's are. As for me, I will have 30 of 30 credits completed and a cumulative GPA of 3.9, with a program GPA of 4.0.

Exactly as I was thinking. They know they are going to be bombarded with calls from pissed off people.

My money says they'll hit send on their way out the door for the weekend so they are bombarded with calls until Monday.

Yes, I found out on a friday night right around 8 pm! They tend to wait until the office is closed I think. lol

You got an acceptance letter that late or where you an alternate?

Yes, I found out on a friday night right around 8 pm! They tend to wait until the office is closed I think. lol

I checked out the forum for SPC Fall 2017 and those that for sure got in received their emails around 2 pm. The rest received theirs later on in the day and even around 8 or later.

I got accepted before the date we were supposed to find out but I also applied for spring not fall. I was definitely not expecting an email that late but most of my friends and I got notified right around that time.

& no I wasn't an alternate however a good 30 people go on that list and I heard a good amount of people still get as alternates from what I heard.

I don't know, maybe they do it differently for fall than spring. Not really sure.

They had 544 applicants for fall 2018. I doubt that many alternates get in, unless someone cannot pass the drug test or background check or decide against going to SPC.

Yeah I'm not sure either I know for a fact that this spring they accepted way more people than previous. Either way I'm sure you all are fine with your gpas! There's a lot of stuff you have to get done once you're admitted. I'm excited for you all!

I was looking at last Falls post on this site and some of them did not get notified either way until the 2nd..... thats making me nervous!! So I can only assume that if we don't get an email by this afternoon that its not looking to good lolllll My anxiety is through the roof!!!!!
