Hi everyone! I’m starting this thread so we can share our application criteria points with each other! I just turned in my application today. I have between 85 and 88 points. I have 3 B’s on my science prerequisites :((, 4.0 gpa for all the general Ed courses. I have fluency in Spanish, an associates degree, CNA, and volunteer experience. I scored an 88 on my TEAS! I hope they can look past my grades in my prerequisite courses and I get in!!! I hope we all get into this cohort! Good luck everyone
@NurseSwe me too. I seen in last years cohort a girl that got an acceptance call like 2 weeks before class started and she was an alternate at 74 points. All the other alternates got accepted right away and were able to make the orientation but she had to wait super close to start date. Crazy to think you would have to reapply then getting a call for acceptance at the last minute. ?

What else do they look at on your paperwork? I'm nervous about my points too.

Heyyyy @AspiringDNP I was literally the lassssttttt freaking alternate. They called me like a day or two before class even started. I had a total of 75-76 points depending if they counted those life points or not. I couldn’t believe I had made it for that years cohort. I had less points bc i didn’t have my associates. But worse scenario I would be applying this year bc I’d be in the low 80’s but thankfully I was lucky to have barely made it. I know how excited all of you must be! Regardless if you get an alternate letter or not there is still hope! Lots of ppl choose their first choice in school. Good luck to all of you! And never give up
