Hi everyone! I’m starting this thread so we can share our application criteria points with each other! I just turned in my application today. I have between 85 and 88 points. I have 3 B’s on my science prerequisites :((, 4.0 gpa for all the general Ed courses. I have fluency in Spanish, an associates degree, CNA, and volunteer experience. I scored an 88 on my TEAS! I hope they can look past my grades in my prerequisite courses and I get in!!! I hope we all get into this cohort! Good luck everyone

Good luck to you I bet you will be accepted I had two B's and one C because I did 18 units my last semester to meet the requirements for applying. Your grades and teas are wonderful and your total points are very very high? for my cohort it was around 73-75 I believe and by looking at what you posted I think you will be fine you have nothing to worry about grade wise. but everyone who had an 83 or higher in total points where first pick mostly I had 73 I believe it was two years ago so I forget now however I was placed on the waitlist and accepted two weeks after those who had gotten in first. Usually a lot of people get into to different schools and don't accept their position I'm in the evening and about half of my class was waitlisted and got in. So believe in yourself and don't doubt yourself your total scores for everything is wonderful and it will stand out. good luck and I really hope to hear you got in ? should be anytime now!

You are the kindest!!!! Thank you for the extremely encouraging reply to my original post! I actually just found out yesterday that I got a spot at Grossmont College’s Fall 2019 ADN program, and I accepted that seat! I hope Southwestern starts sending out acceptance emails soon! If I get a spot, I will give up my seat so that someone else can take it. Keep your fingers crossed everyone! We all put in the time and effort to get to where we are now, and we are all deserving of the opportunity! Good luck to everyone who applied at Southwestern!
