Hi everyone! I’m starting this thread so we can share our application criteria points with each other! I just turned in my application today. I have between 85 and 88 points. I have 3 B’s on my science prerequisites :((, 4.0 gpa for all the general Ed courses. I have fluency in Spanish, an associates degree, CNA, and volunteer experience. I scored an 88 on my TEAS! I hope they can look past my grades in my prerequisite courses and I get in!!! I hope we all get into this cohort! Good luck everyone

Orientation is on the 29th. Probably tell us then but we should start some time in August I think.

School for the ADN program always starts 2 weeks before the rest of SWC starts. So fall starts the week of Aug 19.

I just emailed the nusing department. I followed what they said to do. I emailed my full name, student ID, and Accept in the subject line.

Like the first or second week of August you start before regular semester students start ?

Do you guys know how many spots is available for this cohort ? Crossing fingers that people that applied to multiple schools that got in SWC already chose another school ?

They usually start with 60 then then there can be about 10 LVN step ups that join you second year. Usually 40 for day and 20 for evening the evening class gets the majority of the lvn step up students so you’ll be a small class for a year if you do evening.
