Southwestern College ADN Fall 2019

Hi everyone! I’m starting this thread so we can share our application criteria points with each other! I just turned in my application today. I have between 85 and 88 points. I have 3 B’s on my science prerequisites :((, 4.0 gpa for all the general Ed courses. I have fluency in Spanish, an associates degree, CNA, and volunteer experience. I scored an 88 on my TEAS! I hope they can look past my grades in my prerequisite courses and I get in!!! I hope we all get into this cohort! Good luck everyone

I just seen on indeed they are looking to hire nurses to teach their ADN and CNA courses. They should at least announce a time frame. ?

Omg!!!!!! That stupid bankmobile for financial aid keeps sending me emails!!!?? I see new mail and get excited and it's just bankmobile? Is anyone else getting these horribly timed emails??

It takes longer and longer each year, next year you will hear back in July ;) ( for everyone reading this 2020)

So I called not too long ago asking about when prospective students should hear back and the lady on the phone was so freaking rude. Here goes another day...=/

Yea, that's why I dont want to call. It will just get me even more upset. Like its May, we can't get an update? SMH.

They have posted an update to their ADN website. They are still reviewing applications and it’s anticipated they will be sent out next week (week of May 6th).

I feel like it will probably be Wednesday or Thursday. It's so hard not to check if I have an email every chance I get. ?
