Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a whole new topic for those who applied to Southwestern's Fall 2017 cohort. This is the first time I've applied for a nursing program, so I am very excited and nervous of whats to come. I'm curious to see the amount of points you have totaled so I know what I'm up against. I totaled my points to be 74/75, so that may be low compared to some of you. I wish everyone luck and I hope to see you in August!

@brandyP it is possible they are still in the process and will be sending more acceptance letters later on? That's what I've read on past forums in regards to SWC. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

If jacjacjac s only a few points ahead of u I don't see why you wouldn't make it. I'm sure acceptance is coming your way. I had about 85-87 points for swc i think so maybe they emailed the students on the 80's and worked their way down. I'm sure you made it! Good luck to you! and good luck to everyone else~

If they sent out all acceptances, there will be people who do not accept, so more seats will likely be available.

Ya, but I have some special circumstances so it could really go either way for me. There was no way for me to calculate points. Either they accept something and I had 80 something points, or they don't accept it and I do not get in.

I too had special circumstances. My friend had 76 and got it, hopefully this is only a first round batch, or they are going by names? Because your higher than some other people.

I got my acceptance email as well, make sure to check the email you wrote on the application. They told me to check my SWC email for the acceptance letter, but they sent it to my gmail( the one I wrote on the application). I recieved the email at 12:17 pm.
