I just found out yesterday that I was accepted to the nursing program at SWTCC!!! I'm very excited yet scared to death at the same time. I'm looking for advice and what to expect from former students. Where did you buy your scrubs, stethoscope, and shoes??? How are the classes?:wink2:
Thanks,
It was intimidating, but kinda exciting. I am totally ready to start clinical. I am super super nervous about foundations. Does ANYONE get As in foundations? is that even possible? Some of the teachers seemed like super hard, but then the Childbearing teachers seemed really nice.
you wont start clinicals until about 6 weeks or so into the semester.
the teachers themselves are not hard, the questions they write need a lot of work though.
it is definitely possible to get an A.
That's great! I really want to attend this school! I have been studying for the NLN! I was wondering what do I need to focus on the most in math? I hate math! I have heard that the reading part is more difficult then the math! So what should I focus more on in reading and math?
the reading was quite easy.
math- study geometry
science- study physics

If there was another school that would fit my schedule, I would be there. If you would like, PM me with any specific questions you may have.
