Hello All,

starting this thread in hopes to gather information on the Southern Westchester LPN Program. I have applied to the 2015 program and I would like to know if anyone here has taken the entrance exam recently and can let me know what it entails, specially the math part and what study guide to use if any. Your help and advice will be greatly appreciated I have not been in school in many years so I'm getting a bit anxious.......once again thank you.....

so I'm in the program right now as a full time student. Don't worry too much the math is just basics like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Make sure to know your decimals and fractions as well as ratios. I actually used the Teas study guide but that's because I already had it. There is no science so just focus on math, English and reading. Make sure to do practice exams and time yourself since that's the one thing we all had trouble with especially with the math section. Good luck with the exam.

Thank you for your help....I have the TEAS book to study from specially the math ..that is my weak point that's why I'm nervous....

Honestly don't be worried just remember to manage your time and besides they are really looking more at your reading portion. They feel that math is something that can be worked on but that doesn't mean not to try and get a good score just know that they can at least work with you. If you do make it in prepare yourself because there is a lot and I mean a lot of reading. If you ever have any questions feel free to message me.

Hi, I am going to apply for Aug 2015 too, does the exam is the Cnet?

Hi, did you register already for 2015? When? I have an app on Dec for lpn info session.
