  1. Honestly don't be worried just remember to manage your time and besides they are really looking more at your reading portion. They feel that math is something that can be worked on but that doesn't mean not to try and get a good score just know that they can at least work with you. If you do make it in prepare yourself because there is a lot and I mean a lot of reading. If you ever have any questions feel free to message me.
  2. Hi so I'm in the program right now as a full time student. Don't worry too much the math is just basics like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Make sure to know your decimals and fractions as well as ratios. I actually used the Teas study guide but that's because I already had it. There is no science so just focus on math, English and reading. Make sure to do practice exams and time yourself since that's the one thing we all had trouble with especially with the math section. Good luck with the exam.
  3. I just received the list yesterday and I ordered all the books. The only two I ordered from amazon were the med surgical books.
  4. Yeah when I emailed the coordinator she said by the end of July but I decided to follow up with her she said they were sending the letters out today. Hopefully we get them soon I don't want to do things last minute. Are you doing the full time or part time program?
  5. The coordinator said they were sending out letters this week about what the book list and reading assignments will be. They were just a bit delayed. So hopefully we should get it by the beginning of next week.
  6. If you're talking about the one in Harrison orientation starts August 25th. We should be getting a letter later this week or next with any summer readings we might have to do. I'll be sending in my physical forms next week since I need a few things filled out.

Hi I just wanted to know if the study guide books for an RN program can be used for the LPN program as well. I know I'm getting ahead of myself when I haven't started my LPN program yet but I was curious to see if I could use them since I want to become an RN one day.
  8. Same problem again btw
  9. Hey I couldn't message you your inbox is full I'll send you my email once you clear it a bit lol.
  10. That's great congrats. At least that will help you a bit while in the program.
  11. I was a CNA for a short time and I did go to school for pre-med a few years ago. I still need a refresher since it's been a while though. What about you?
  12. Okay I just wanted to make sure before I started reading over all these terms.
  13. Thank you!!! I'm not sure really I start on August 25th so maybe it's a few days before. Also based on the old posts do we need to study medical terminology. I keep getting emails to take a med. terminology course they are offering but I don't have the money to spend on it.
  14. Hey Bira So I finally got my letter of acceptance into the full time program today I'm so happy. I can't wait for classes now. Just a quick question Bira did you get any other forms along with your acceptance letter and physical form for your doctor to fill out. I just want to make sure I wasn't missing anything else just in case.
  15. Hey It went pretty well I wasn't expecting three people but in the end I left feeling good. Now I am just waiting to hear from them. Hopefully it's soon because this whole waiting process has been torture. I hope you're enjoying your summer before classes start good luck in the Fall.
