Source of Prioritization questions?

I've heard there are lots of priority questions on the NCLEX. I have Saunders book and CD, the NLN study books and NCLEX 3500. I can't find any specific catagories in any of these to just get prioritization and delegations questions. Do you all have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Storm

I did the Kaplan Review course and have the book and online questions. Those have a lot of delegation/prioritization, which from what I have heard are big NCLEX topics. I am using Saunders for content review and Kaplan for the more critical thinking questions. They are definately harder than Saunders. Hope this helps! I take NCLEX on July 27th...3 weeks and 6 days....

I bought the Mosby book...It's called Priority/delegation...really excellent, there is chapters for each area and system...i.e. cardiac, pain, home care, and case studies....

I really recommend it!

I went out and bought this book after I read your post!! I hope it helps! I am getting really nervous about the prioritizing/delegation part because that seems to be a huge aspect of the exam based on the comments people are making! Thanks for the tip!!! It's nice to hear about good references!!

I'm scheduled for my NCLEX pn on July 8th... I used the NCSBN (3 Weeks) reviewed. I thought it was hard... I scored high 50's and High 60's. If I'm lucky I'll get like a low 70. They have a lot of prioritzing and delegating questions also. The rationales wasen't that great but they give some tips on how to answer questions by eliminating. I also studied the DELMAR book and CD. I score like around the 70's on the practice CD questions. I did the Lippincott CD which I scored high 80. But when it comes to the NCSBN i dont do so hot. Should I reschedule...? I only have about 7 days.... My friend just took hers on Monday and told me that it wasent that bad. Her computer shut off on 100 and she said she got the last one wrong. THe bad thing here is in CA you have to wait 2 weeks for your result. My birthday is July 25th and I'm hoping so much that I will get my result by then saying that I pass. That will be the greatest birthday wish of all.

I'll tell you, I'm glad you did...I really liked it, some questions are easy...some are not. What I really liked was seeing how you get stronger as you go throught the chapters, I didn't finish the whole book by the time I took my NCLEX, but I felt very comfortable answering the many priority questions I received...and I think..no I know it was because of that book.
