I got suspended during my probabation period (Nov. 30th will be my 3rd month working here), do you think I will get fired? The DON called me to speak to the administrators. This whole situation is not even my fault at all and this resident isn't even my resident and should've been supervised by the workers. I also got a call to report everything to the admin, which I did on Saturday. This is my first job in general. I am a CNA and I just feel like I'm just putting in for blame. I'm really nervous that this meeting, I am going to get fired. One of my nurses said, if you do get fired that I should talk to corporate about this because it is unfair.

We have no way of guessing whether you will get fired or not, but you should start looking for a new job, pronto. Your nurse is likely mistaken that corporate will care anything about your side of things; they probably couln't care less about it or whether something was unfair.
Even if you don't get fired, how often do you want to put up with experiences like this?

You are right, well I just turned in my references at a hospital and might start at December 11th. This hasn't been the first time that I've been getting blame of and everything else. Everyone is friends with each other, none our my age. I'm 19 and there's only one CNA who's in my age range but I get along. It's like my night shift workers don't have any problem with me but when it comes to AM they have several. But thank you!
What if they make me sign something about this suspension? Should I not sign anything? My license still says it's clear.

As far as signing anything goes, its impossible to advise you.
Don't sign anything if you don't know what it is you're signing. Read everything very carefully before signing. It may be worth your while to speak to a lawyer, or even legal aid, if you can't afford a lawyer, as signing some things can mean you admit guilt, and can effect getting unemployment or even your certification. Best of luck.

You know.. I don't know you, I don't have a clue what happened.. but the things
I bolded above in your statement raise red flags. Sounds like things have
happened before and you keep "getting blame". That's what I'm reading here.
Look, you are very young... part of growing and becoming a safe, mature,
competent nurse is accepting responsibility. So, you might want to be honest
with yourself and ask, IS there a reason why day shift seems to have several
problems with you, other than just not liking you.
Good luck to you and I hope things go well at the hospital, if you do end
up there. :)
