I am! I am not even in a nursing program yet, but I recently applied and I decided to get a head start on some of the lab courses. I'm taking it by itself though, as I currently am in an entirely unrelated field and only have the time and money for one class right now.
What should we expect? I have never taken a lab science before since high school where I took bio, chem, physics, etc. I am a little nervous, I've even thought about starting to memorize now! I found my mother's anatomy & physiology book from like 1978 but I am not sure if its still accurate lol. Also, I wish I could find a site that will automatically email you an 'anatomy term' of the day like they do for regular vocabulary words. I've heard things on this site about like buying skeletons and stuff to study from? I haven't been in school in two years (I have my BA in Psych) so I hope I am ready to get back into the swing of things!
I'm hoping I get in to one of the two programs I applied to! I won't hear until like, May, though so I have a long time to feel impatient.
Sincerely,
Cheryl
We started this back in May when a group of us were starting A&P I
Best wishes to you.
Thank goodness the fall semester is almost over, just a few more weeks left.I'm taking A&P 1 this spring along with college comp., social ethics, and yoga.
Who else is taking A&P 1 this spring?
I am taking A&P. I registered yesterday. I got there when the doors opened at 7:30 am on the first day and their were about 300 people ahead of my but I was able to get all the classes at the times I wanted! God is looking out for me. I also have lifespan psychology, music appreciation, and nutrition. In the fall I will have microbiology, geometry and whatever alse I take. I should be in the program in spring 07. I am taking a few classes that go toward my bachelor because the waiting list gives me some time for that. Alot of people complain about the waiting list but it sure beats applying and reapplying! I got the teacher that is highly reccommended for A&P. He was supposed to retire but the school persuaded him to stay. I am really looking forward to it. It will be the closest thing to the nursing program I've had yet. I have heard the coloring book is very helpful. I am thinking about buying it and doing it over break. If I get it now I won't be doing my algebra, bio & english! Denise
