I saw this article on the Huffington Post yesterday and had a major W T H moment.

I'm somewhere in the Gen-X/Millennial bridge years- older sister clearly in Gen X, younger siblings clearly Millennial based on
their lack of independence and no desire to get out of my parents' house even as early 20-somethings.
As a middle child, I identified strongly with my peers, flew the nest at 18 to out of state college, and never looked back. I couldn't
imagine my mother micro-managing my life- we rarely agree on anything because we're too alike.
So much social and emotional development occurs as young, fully independent adults- imagine how stunted these kids will be for
never having to make major decisions and suffer growing pains.

Like every generation...usually fine.
As long as they aren't helicopter parented on any other abnormal parenting....
