Hi, future nurses! Creating this post for those who applied to Solano Community College with a 2024 start date.
Has anyone heard anything yet? Previous community threads here talk about how you don't hear anything until February or possibly March, but that seems so far away.

To help all of those looking to get started at Solano, we've put together a bit more information about the program below.
Solano Community College Nursing Program
Solano Community College is based in Fairfield, California. The college offers a quality two-year ADN program with a most recent NCLEX pass rate of 87.18% in 2022/2023.
There are between 35-45 students taking the NCLEX exams in a given year, so you can expect roughly 50 students in your cohort as not all will continue the program through its entirety.
Nursing Program Tuition and Costs
The estimated total program costs are $8,000 to $8,500, or roughly $4,000 in annual tuition costs.
Nursing Application Deadlines
The deadline for acceptance into the fall nursing program, which starts in August each year, is September 1 – September 30. For this cohort, you should have already applied for entrance if you'd like to start in August 2024.
Still patiently waiting to hear anything. Without going into too much detail, there was an issue with someone saying I didn't meet the cut score when last year I did. So I got an email last week saying I will be in the lottery and that they anticipated running the lottery sometime by the end of the week last week, with results being sent shortly affer. Hope that helps. Hope we all get in!

Looks like we'll hear something next week. I don't like that they're unsure if notifications have gone out though ?
I have even called and every like just went to voicemail. Crazy how vague it is! I have applied to MANY places over the years and never had to wait this long!
Wow, so they have the lottery done, but the results are somewhere in the abyss. I'm guessing today is not the day then. Unfortunately, we will probably hear back sometime during next week.
