Hi! is 30.22 with 2 years experience a reasonable salary to work in a med surg unit? We are located in Inland Empire county.

Although that pay rate could be a little higher, I would accept the job offer and hold onto it for dear life. The job market for healthcare professions is terrible in southern CA, and this includes experienced nurses.

Seems good to me especially with this job market, take the job, also have you asked if there is a sign on bonus? Usually they dont mention that to you but it does no harm in asking.

It's on the lower side, but it's a job, I'd take it. I made 31.71/hr as a new grad in the IE in 2009, I found out later this was the highest paying job in the IE, but I worked my butt off for it. However, another hospital offered me 28/hr as a new grad in the more southern part of the IE.

There's a range. It's on the lower end, but it's a job.
