Sorry I don't remember what everyone did, I just remember many said they already worked for kaiser, I don't, so I am honestly thinking if you do, you prob have a better chance. And that is totally fine! I def think that people who are already in should have the upper hand. Wish you the best of luck! I don't have the contact of anyone else either.

That's totally okay, there were a lot of us HAHA. I think even if you don't have work with Kaiser you still have a chance - theres a reason why you made it into the interview so don't lose hope!! I wish you the best of luck as well. I'll pull this thread back up if I hear smt :3 & hopefully someone else who interviewed for ontario finds this thread and lets us know too lolz

Honestly, I heard a lot of people in my interview too already had a Kaiser job. Personally, I only have BSN and 0 healthcare experience and never did a clinical / internship / volunteer on any Kaiser locations. IDK if ifs the cover letter or the resume, but I was just thankful to get an interview.

completely agree! thats why I am OK even if I get a rejection, I am thankful I got the opportunity. That sure tells me I am doing something right so all I can do is continue to try!

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my entire experience as it doesn't seem like there's much information regarding Kaiser interviews.

I do have a BSN (second degree) and a CA RN license. I do not have prior healthcare work experience. I have done most of my clinical rotations at Kaiser.

I applied for Kaiser Panorama (1st choice) and WH (2nd). I got a call last Monday (8/5) for an in person interview for Kaiser Pan. I was given a choice between 8am to 3pm for Monday (8/12).

I was under the impression that it would be a one on one interview. I got a confirmation email with the location, date, and time and nothing else. Today I went to the interview and found out it was a group interview. Each hour slot had about 4-6 candidates and there were 5 interviewers and 2 people from the union.

We were each asked to introduce ourselves. Then, we picked a random questions from a "bucket". They picked a candidate randomly and gave them 1 minute and 30 seconds to read and answer the question. We only had time for two rounds of questions.

Interview questions were all behavioral. I don't even think most pertain to our clinical experience unless you have or currently work at a healthcare facility. Most questions could be answered from previous work experience. My questions were conflict with your manager or boss and a coworker who doesn't "pull their own weight". Other qs  where what makes an excellent nurse, two examples of how you've worked hard, how you've gone above and beyond, what does teamwork mean to you, sacrifice you've made to benefit others, when you've gotten negative feedback... those are the ones I remember.

Then we had time to ask them qs. Positions are all med surg/oncology, and we could be offered full time or part time work and day or night shift. They didn't say how they decide that.

Program is three months of workshops for 40 hrs per week and could be scheduled anytime of the week including weekends, three months of clinical with an assigned preceptor, and they said the program is one year and they emphasized no vacations.

Good luck to everyone who applied and those who interviewed.

Yeah I thought so too but I heard that someone got an offer already? maybe it's not true

Has anyone heard from Riverside, Fontana, or Ontario? All my applications show "job submission complete" and haven't heard anything. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone! Has anyone heard back from Downey? Mine still says "job submission complete" which worries me since they said interviews would end on the 16th and I hope I'm contacted soon whether they want an interview or not.....

Did anyone ask Panorama City when they would be sending offers?
