I have a GPA of 3.7. I need AP 1 and 2, Micro, and HPRS. I just want to know the schools process. Is it a point system? Do you get points everytime you apply? If so, should I apply while taking AP 1, Micro, and HPRS this spring just to get the points? I'm taking AP and Micro online....is this a good idea (micro labs will get mailed to me...taking through some CC in denver). I'm just sooooooo darn tired of taking class!!!!:anbd:

I don't remember off hand what their system is there at El Centro, but you can look up at the Dallas County College website. But I will tell you that getting into El Centro is very very competitive. You absolutely must have a 4.0. That is because so many people apply there that have a 4.0 they are the ones that get accepted. Also just because you have a 4.0 does not mean you will even get in because there is such a large number of people with a 4.0 that apply.

Look at Grayson County College in Denison, TX. It is about a hour drive from Dallas and is based on points system. www.grayson.edu That is where I am going and it is not nearly as competitive as Dallas.

Are you currently in the nursing program at Grayson? If so how many points do you need to get in? After my micro class is over I will have either 27 or 28 Possibly and thats a big possibly 29 If I can pull off a 96 or higher for my last lecture exam so Im hoping for 29 but reality maybe 28! Im so worried with over 300 applicants if you dont have 30 points you wont get in!! any advice please help!!
