So I took Boards this morning.....

Published

I got there fine... got fingerprinted, picture taken... what not. I was a little bit nervous as expected. Well, the computer shut off at 75 questions. I don't know if this is a good sign or a bad sign. I did not feel like I did very well, however, I know 99% of people don't feel good about them when they are done. Does anyone have experience with this? The next two days are going to be stressful... I know that. A night out with the girls will help tonight though ;)

Any thoughts?

Yep, the same thing happened to me last July when I took them. When the comuter shut off at 75 I wasn't sure what to think. While I didn't think the test was necessarily hard I had not been very confident on a lot of my answers, but I passed...so I would say just relax and be glad that it's over with. Get some girls together and have a good time...I'm sure you did fine!

I took my boards 13 years ago right after it went computerized and the same thing happened to me. I did not think I did very well either, I cried every day for 2 weeks (back then it took 2 weeks ) because I was convinced I had failed. I was wrong. I am sure you did fine. Congratulations!!!:balloons:

Our instructor said you want it to shut off around that #. She said if you are reaching the final questions, you'd better be worried.

in that same vein, if you get all the questions, don't freak out! Some people have to take all of them, because that's how they quality control...

I had the same thing happen. 75?'s and passed. I swear I failed. It was a very stressful time.

ON another side, a friend took the NCLEX and used the entire time. She got to over 200 questions and it cut off due to running out of time.

She passed too. (She has major anxiety over test taking).

You never know.

I do not want to say you did fine because I have heard of some people who fail after 75?'s.

Just go out and have fun.

Laissez les bon temps roulez.

Yeah, I've been told to expect that!

I'm sure you did great!!! Good luck to you! I'll be sending good thoughts your way :balloons:
