Snobby LPN students

Published

Hello

I'm just wondering if anyone else has a similar problem. Where I work LPN students come in to train and they are so snobby. They act like they are above everyone. Is it just my area or is this all over? I am a BSN student working as a cna.

Also why are they spending so much to become LPN's? Theres no place to work as an LPN anymore.

got some articles ?

i worked with nearly all lvns in the hospital, ltc, and drug/alcohol rehab over 17 years of the 19 i was actively working.

interesting :)

if you think they are pointless and snobby, maybe they are picking up your attitude???? :)

these articles discuss the differences- and the job outlook- which varies from region to region; in tx (where i worked) lvns could start ivs with training, and did a lot of the bedside care including chest tubes, wound care, etc.

the rn job projection for hospitals is the worst job growth area for rns....they are expected to be used more in offices (the most growth)....know the area you're referring to, the type of nursing, and whether it's urban vs rural. it makes a difference- and lpns/lvns can teach a student nurse/new grad a lot.... so you might consider not burning bridges with attitude :)

Ughhh, your attitude is the worst I've seen on here. You made another negative post about LPN's that I saw. If and when you do become a RN and you start working with CNA's, LPN's and Rn's they are going to eat you alive with a attitude like that.

thats strange.. the lpns in my program are all really pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful.

stop overgeneralizing based on your supposed experiences.. sounds like someones bitter.
