Hi everyone! Didn’t see a Samuel Merrit thread for fall 2020. Figured everyone could chat here and maybe share their stats ?

Someone responded to another thread I started saying they are in contact with counselors at SMU and they were told we would get invites “sometime in February” ?

So, now I don’t expect to hear anything for awhile. I think they are behind last years timeline. People had invites by the end of the first week in February and interviewed at the end of February if I saw correctly.

Yes, that was the time schedule from last year. Did anyone receive the 'we've completed preliminary review of your app'?

No, I haven’t received anything other than the initial emails from NursingCAS after I submitted my application. Have you received anything?

I got a completed preliminary review email about 2-3 weeks ago. I applied to both ABSN and ELMSN, not sure if that was a factor.

I received the “we have completed our preliminary review of your application” On January 17th... I really hope they look at it again though, since I sent in my updated transcript including grades from Fall Pre-Reqs shortly after.

Anyone heard back yet ? They reached out to me about a prerequisite class.

Some people have started hearing back. From what I am reading they send invites out in waves not all at once. There’s another thread for SMU ELMSN to follow

Invites have gone out for CM and NP programs. The first batch of CM invites went out 2-3 weeks ago, NP program just got their first set last week.
