I got a phone call from Anne with my acceptance!!! She said we'll get an email with next steps tomorrow! ? BEAMING. I'm so happy we didn't have too wait too long to hear. I think I remember Anne saying the waitlist usually moves 1-5 spots, there is hope!

Woo! Interviewed with Janet and I hope my nervousness didn't come through too much. ? @Richard Thanks for reminding me to touch up my elevator pitch! She said our personal statement will be used for the writing portion. Now- back to the waiting game.

@Bunnymummy Did you receive your call? That would have stressed me out so much ? Good luck to everyone! I woke up to a horrible nightmare about not being able to hear the interviewer last night. LOL So, I'm anxiously waiting for 11am tomorrow!

Yay! Congrats! I did too ? I put March 24th at 11 as my preferred time. So excited!

I received the “we have completed our preliminary review of your application” On January 17th... I really hope they look at it again though, since I sent in my updated transcript including grades from Fall Pre-Reqs shortly after.

Someone responded to another thread I started saying they are in contact with counselors at SMU and they were told we would get invites “sometime in February” ? So, now I don’t expect to hear anything for awhile. I think they are behind last years timeline. People had invites by the end of the first week in February and interviewed at the end of February if I saw correctly.

Hi fellow (hopeful) applicants, I found this website while desperately trying to figure out when I would hear back from SMU! This wait is horrible and I’ve started dreaming about getting that interview email. Ha! I haven’t seen any specific thread for this program, so hoping maybe there’s someone out there feeling the same as me? It seems like the application date moved from Nov 1 previous years to Dec 1 this year, so maybe we won’t hear until end of this month? Fingers crossed...?
