Does anyone know which is better??? The one thing i'm leaning towards skyscape because you don't renew every year???
Does anyone have any promotional codes to save money when buying skyscape?
Thanks

i have the constellation....i love it. i have many programs from skyscape, i think 15 total. i do not renew every year. my constellation i believe is two years old. i think it only becomes a problem when you upgrade to another PDA.
can you cross reference drugs to see if they are compatable with constellation?

I have Skyscape's Nursing Constellation, Nursing IV Drug Book, and Diseases and Disorders. I also have Epocrates RxPro. I got the Epocrates because it has more information regarding mixing of IV meds and you can have it check multiple drugs at one time......
Best of luck to you!

not sure what you mean by that....though i am recovering from OP surgery and am a little groggy....lol
i have many programs on my PDA from skyscape, the constellation including the IV drug handbook and tabers, i have lippincott's drug guide (the constellation has davis' drug guide), nursing assessment, nursing procedures, RNotes.
maybe you mean can you cross reference drugs between epocrates and constellation? i never did get epoc to work on my current PDA, so i am not sure if you could do that or not? i do like having two drug guides on my PDA becaue a lot of times one drug is in one guide and not the other.
I haven't found where you can tap the meds in and they check for dangerous interactions with the Skyscape program.
One of the features I like about Diseases and Disorders: A Nursing Therapeutics Manual, is that it gives you charting pointers and what you should assess for with different dx's. Now if I can just remember to use it.

I have the Palm E2 and could not get Skyscape to work on it. I used it on my older Palm m125 though. I now use Epocrates Pro. There haven't been any meds that haven't been listed. I hot sync to update the drug list at least once per week. They also send an email when they update the list. The interaction function is great. You can select numerous meds that a patient is on and it will automatically cross check all of them for you. I personally like Epocrates better. I think it's easier to use.
