Interviewed there but didn't accept position. I work at Vandy and Baptist. I could probably answer questions about those places if you have any.

I worked there for a short time and wasnt' very impressed. The building is beautiful but it's deceptive. I don't think the overall care is up to par. I hope I'm not stepping on the toes of anyone who works there, this is just my take on the place. I've been at Hendersonville Medical Center for 3 years and just love it there.

Hi there, I'm a LPN, hopefully, will find out about passing or failing boards next week. I live in West TN, but my fiance is from Ashland City, so we will be moving back to the nashville area soon. I am VERY interested in working at Vanderbilt. Do they hire nurses straight out of school?

Almost all units hire new grad RNs but I don't know about LPNs. Check their website out for current needs and their next job fair at www.mc.vanderbilt.edu

P.S. I'm pretty sure Baptist hires LPN new grads.

Just wanted to say that I really love Skyline Medical Center. I've done clinicals in their CCU. Personally, I think that the nurses and the care (at least in the CCU) is incredible. I guess it all depends on the unit, but I would certainly reccommend Skyline to anyone.

Vanderbilt only hires RN's for the floors. LPN's work in the clinic area.

Hello MaggieJo, I live in Mt Juliet, Tn and I will like to know if Skyline offers any LPN courses. I am a CNT and I am looking for a Hospital that gives me the opportunity for advancement. I will appreciate your response. Thanks :) .

Does anyone around the Nashville, TN area knows of a facility that will provide an LPN program. I will like to start ASAP. Appreciate any response.
