SJSU Spring 2017 (Questions/Comments/Concerns)

I looked around to see if anyone had started a thread but nothing

How do you fill out transcripts, college attended, etc? I saw SJSU under BSN (pre-licensure) when I signed in and clicked "Start your application"

I was able to fill out a transcript and colleges attended because I also chose the option to apply to California State University, Chico.

Anyways, you found SJSU under BSN pre-licensure? Hm, I still don't see it.

Online it says the application will open on the 30th.

I just came back from the nursing office at sjsu, I guess they just updated some stuff and the application won't be available for SJSU until Aug. 30th through Sept 30th

Yeah, they literally updated this week or something so it's opened on the 30th..-

But anyway, I had some problems with sending in my transcript from SJSU. I went to the registar office and asked the Head of Registar Office. She basically told me that you can order your transcript in a PDF form and sent it to NursingCas since they are using this Credential Program to sent it over (something like that). NursingCas then will sent it to the school you are applying to. My friend and I also called NursingCas to confirm that they will send the 1 PDF transcript you ordered from SJSU to the schools you are applying to. Just wanted to let you guys know if you are having the same type of problem!

Do you still have to use the transcript request form from NursingCAS?

The lady told you don't need to since you already input that barcode # in your transcript form. But I'll turn in mine anyway just in case in their letter drop-off box. (if your planning to drop it off you need to write your transcript order # where your barcode is)

Do you guys know how we are supposed to substitute a course for one of the requirements? I need to substitute Chem 30A with Chem 1A. Is there an option on NursingCAS to do so?

I believe the site says something about that but it doesn't specifically tell you what to do. I think I also need to do that because I took a stats course at a CC that is matriculated at sjsu but I'm not 100% sure. I will check maybe I can find it again and post what ever it says on here.

Does anyone know how to report the wst score? Do we just take a snapshot of it from mysjsu?

if you're already at sjsu im pretty sure its already on your records, I thought we didn't have to do anything else cause for me it shows up on mysjsu
