You do compete along with transfer students and SJSU students. It depends on the pool of applicants- those are the people you will be competing with.

You usually don't find what the impaction score is until after they select who got in. To calculate for your own personal impacted score, you must divide your TEAS score(at least 75%) by 30 = whatever number it is. Then add whatever number that is with your GPA and that will be your impaction score. You can also check out the website at SJSU Nursing for all the information.

You find out what score it is for your class after everyone is accepted. When the time comes for people finding out who got accepted, you can call the nursing administration for the impaction score as well.

To calculate your impaction score, you must divide your TEAS score (should be at least 75%) by 30. So TEAS score/30 = answer. After, add your pre-requisite GPA with your answer and that is final impaction score.
