I was looking for a Fall 2018 thread but couldn't find one so I decided to make one. I thought it would be a great way to get to know each other and to know what this applicant pool would be like this semester. I'm so excited!

Big Five GPA - 4.0

TEAs - 92%

Impaction Score - 7.06

Ipaction Score: 6.4ish

Hey guys, I'm trying to calculate my impaction score and I'm unsure on how to calculate my gpa because I'm not sure if +'s and -'s count on the letter grade? Does anyone know? My big 5 are A, A, A, A, and A-

With a teas score of 93.3%

Hello!

Yes +'s and -'s count on the letter grade. To calculate GPA I use this link. Just fill out your grades and credits.

Hey everyone! My name is Kristie. I just wanted to introduce myself. I am coming in as a transfer from a community college and my top school I applied to for nursing is San Jose State!

All of your stats are amazing I am quite intimidated hahaha

My stats are:

GPA for the big 5: 4.0

TEAS score: 82%

I think this puts me at an impaction score of 6.73?

I submitted my application but I took the WST in February so I'm still waiting for the score to be posted. Did anyone else take it then? And where else did you guys apply to? SO NERVOUS

I got a message last night and am still trying to decode if it's for the program or just the university. Did yours open with "Congratulations! I am pleased to inform you that you have been provisionally admitted to the intended major you selected on your application to San José State University for the Fall 2018 term.."?

Hi guys!

It is just admission to the college, not the nursing program. I believe the nursing program will notify us via email and/or mail rather than through the SJSU portal. :)

If I remember correctly, I've read in previous Fall cohort threads that the cutoff impact score was around 6.35-6.45 (correct me if I'm wrong). Also, I believe we get our decisions at the end of April or at the beginning of May. Hope this helps

PS Did you guys send in your official transcripts yet? On my student center it doesn't have any to-do's yet. Does anyone know if they're only asking for official transcripts if we get accepted into the program? Im a little confused

Hey I just checked my MySJSU page and it's now showing that official transcripts are due to the university by April 13th! I never got an email about the office of admissions needing official transcripts so now I'm rushing to get them in to the school.
