Is there anyone here that is applying to the San Jose State University nursing program for Fall 2013?!

Okay, those of you on the waitlist... it was a hard decision but I declined my spot just now (eleventh hour!), so there's one more place open in the Fall 2013 cohort. Best of luck to you all!!

scwolf, what school did you decide on? :)

Thank you sooooo much!@refresh

About a week ago, I notified them that I won't be attending SJSU, but I have not turned in the official form yet. I will be turning in the official form stating that I will not be attending SJSU's nursing program tomorrow. I hope you get in the nursing program! Best of luck

Where are you planning to enroll btw?

Wait-listed people

I will be giving my SJSU nursing spot away as I just I got accepted to SFSU. The only thing is I already sent my response letter accepting the offer for SJSU because the deadline was last Friday 27th. So, I'm assuming im gonna have to call and ask them to draw my application. But, yes wait listed people, keep the faith because many like me applied to different schools and will probably open up more spaces :)

For those who got in...does anyone know when enrollment starts? Do we have priority enrollment (group 1) for being in the nursing program?

Also for anyone who is in the nursing program currently and reading this...do you use a lot of tech/gadgets...like laptops and tablets? I only ask because the books seem to have electronic versions and paper versions. Just thought I'd get the heads up on what I need to buy this summer or save up for. Also, what do you think of the program?

Hi Themary89,

I haven't made my final decision yet. It's between Sac State, SF State and my "wild card" Western Carolina Univ (where my husband has family). I don't know yet if I'm in Sac State.

I got into USF MSN (CNL) but I'm leaning against that program because of the cost (mainly). What are your plans?

@kittycat123 Fall semester starts Thurs, Aug 22nd!

In regards to the 2 classes that need to be done before the end of the first semester, are we going to have to be taking more than a full load with the other core classes on the semester plan? Guess I can find out at the advising session but was wondering if you guys knew. Also, are we nursing guaranteed spots in the classes we need since we are in an actual program?

what are the two classes that need to be done?

I believe kin/chad 67 I have to look at the advising slides

i hope we get priority registration.. "students in certain programs with rigid registration requirements" are under group 1, and the nursing program should fall under that category. our mysjsu accounts will tell us our registration appointments on may 6th, so we'll find out then if we're in a priority group or not.
