Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for the people who are applying to San Joaquin Delta College's nursing program for FALL 2016 cohort. I know the application period is still a month away but I'm just so excited. I still need to take my TEAS. Maybe we can all get to know each other and compare scores?

Same here.. My status has not changed ������ I think you have a 99.999999% chance of getting in since you are alternate #2! That's great!! I hope you get your acceptance email soon. The wait is driving me crazy

Thank you! I really hope so. It's been a really long journey for me, so I'm incredibly excited that maybe this is my year, you know? But one never knows...it could be a bad year for us alternates....but I hope not! I hope you get in too! And yes...this wait/uncertainty is killer!! Far worse than when they posted their results. At least then we had a specific date to look forward to....I check my email/status page like 10+ a day lol

Hey guys, yeah June 3rd was the deadline to accept/decline...I'm sure you guys will find more info out after the orientation, or possible even after this Monday bc we are doing our fittings for uniforms and also taking our ID photos

Do you think you could let us know if they say anything about the alternates Monday ? Thank you :)

I'm sure you will be getting that call soon! Possibly by next week. I'm #13 so I don't know if I have a chance but I'm holding on to hope ! I really hope it's a good year for alternates too lol I literally check everything 10x a day still! Lol it's something I want so bad !

Just wanted to say that I dropped out, so one of you must get in, and I'm sure there would be more people dropping out.

I was an alternate for Sierra and they forgot to notify me somehow and when I went to the orientation I found out I'm in, so I would say call/email and ask what's going on!

Congratulations! ...side note...they forgot to notify you?! What the? lol. Good thing you went to orientation anyway! Again, congratulations!

If you don't mind me asking, when did you drop? Just so I can figure out if the Status page is ever updated when ppl drop.

Yeah I guess they had a change in administrative staff and somehow skipped me. Luckily orientation day was where they explained everything that needs to be done for program. Anyways Sierras program is pretty amazing so as long as I'm in haha...

I notified Delta on Friday, the day of the deadline and reconfirmed Monday.

I'm sure they will have a space available it is just a matter of when that will happen. Our first class is Aug 15 so that will give people plenty of time in case the slot becomes available. I would give it some time. Just try to be prepared in case they call. Just check your email in case they notify or call the HS division if your curious and want to know how they will contact you.

I forgot to mention that July 8th is an important deadline date for clinical requirements as well purchasing the ATI package.

I know for sure there are 3 of us that have declined our spots, and they have known this for a while. They just don't have their crap together over there!

Does anyone know if there is a Facebook page for the fall 2016 group? I tried looking it up but it says that it is for a different class...should we start one?
