Hi everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for the people who are applying to San Joaquin Delta College's nursing program for FALL 2016 cohort. I know the application period is still a month away but I'm just so excited. I still need to take my TEAS. Maybe we can all get to know each other and compare scores?

On student checklist for 'ATI account purchase' the date is June 8th but when u actually skip to page 23 and read it the date says July 8th !!! Did anyone notice that?

Yes, I did notice it said that. I would definitely call the HS division office and talk to Wendy regarding that deadline. (209) 9545454. For those that are alternates the packet is basically clinical requirements and things such books, uniforms that must be purchased. If your are very close to getting accepted in the program from the alternate list just be prepared for some upfront expenses that will be made when you are notified. I wish and pray the best for all who are looking forward to a career in nursing.

I called the office and it is July 8, not June :) hope that helps

Yes, click on the link in the packet and it will take you to a page that will show you where you can take a class that's approved and near you

For those of you who got in:

When is your orientation? Do you have a deadline to "commit" or notify that you WILL be enrolling in the program?

I'm an alternate and so far no one has declined their spot. The wait/uncertainty is killing me...just trying to figure out how long I should hold out for.

The date to accept or decline seat was I believe June 3rd. Orientation is on July 25th. I think people will still drop out the program before orientation once they get in the other schools. There was specifically people here that said they wont be attending right?

What number are u ont he list?

I assumed that our alternate # would change on the status page....so far I'm still in the same spot on the status page, and I haven't gotten a phone call or email from Delta...and still no link for the packet, even though the status page stated that alternates would receive one and should complete the requirements in case we are offered a space.

Same here.. My status has not changed í ½í¸ž I think you have a 99.999999% chance of getting in since you are alternate #2! That's great!! I hope you get your acceptance email soon. The wait is driving me crazy

Hey guys, yeah June 3rd was the deadline to accept/decline...I'm sure you guys will find more info out after the orientation, or possible even after this Monday bc we are doing our fittings for uniforms and also taking our ID photos
