Just getting the thread started for those who applied and are waiting for updates.
According to the Simmons website (which is pretty hard to navigate), the pre-licensure portion is $1410 per credit hour and the post-licensure portion is $1210. There is a total of 97 units that I calculated from the sample sequence they have on the website. Summer terms are required I believe because it is listed in the sample sequence of courses. Also the deposit is due 3/15 so there is still time to attend the info session on 3/6 to ask questions before paying the deposit. Hope that helps!
I just noticed someone asked about the part-time option and that is shown on the sample sequence after the pre-licensure part is complete.

I haven’t put my deposit down yet (waiting on the stimulus check LOL) but am planning to! I’m choosing this program over Northeastern for financial reasons but I also feel pretty confident that it will be a good fit after the info I got from the accepted students Zoom. Currently in VT and excited to be in Boston soon ☺️

Congrats! I'm sure your experience will be different from mine because I started the program at the beginning of the pandemic and we've been taking the all classes online while doing clinical in person. But the school is planning to get back on campus by the time you will start in the fall. The first semester is really hard but if you're dedicated you will make it.

Hey! yea so the pre-licensure is the first half of the program where you are working toward attaining your RN licensure or passing the NCLEX. So in that portion, I'm sure clinicians are matched by them for sure. The problem lies in the clinical placements for the second half of the program (or the MSN portion). Here is where a lot of the discrepancy comes. When I spoke to admissions I was told that "these online reviews are false" and I "shouldn't be looking at those as a gauge for the placements". They even suggested that I might have read a review "for another program that wasn't Simmons" by accident. (I'm sure it was Simmons). but I was told these clinical placement issues are "not true" by admissions. The discrepancy comes from the students both former and current who have expressed that this in fact is not true. Finding clinicals is a stressful process and that simmons doesn't help with (to be fair the student said that they only help at the very last minute when you've exhausted all options yourself).
