Hey guys I was accepted into the ABSN program for fall 2020. I am 25, moving from Florida. I am also interested in taking patho this Summer and I did just get confirmation it will be an online class starting May 18 -July 15. (They are offering it to ABSN students as well).
anyway if anyone wants to chat about the school I would love to! CONGRATS to everyone- I am hoping to get my BSN and then possibly apply to a NP program.

Hi! Thank you for making yourself available as a resource. What influenced your decision to go to Simmons? What do you enjoy the most about the program? Are you able to work part-time/per diem while in school? Does Simmons pick your clinical placements for you? What is your living situation like? How are you able to afford school (loans, scholarships, etc)? I appreciate any and all responses! Thanks.
Hello,
I am interested in applying to Simmons University and Regis University for the Direct entry FNP program for Fall of 2021. I hold a non-nursing degree and I am currently in a Masters in Global Health program. My GPA from undergrad was around 3.32. I was wondering if you all could give me some advice on how I can boost my application. What do they really look for in your application? What experiences and GPA did you all have that you think helped you get into the programs? I want to get an understanding about what the programs are looking for and would really appreciate any advice! Thank you.

Hey I was accepted into the fall 2020 direct entry program for both Regis and Simmons and I will be starting in a couple months with Simmons. Personally I had no clinical experience but I did volunteer a lot. I volunteered at hospitals and nursing homes to help boost my application. My GPA was a 3.7. I would honestly say what helps is a strong essay because I worked hard on that. Also doing well in your pre reqs. But honestly everyone is different.

The total cost is right under $130,000. As of right now, there are 92 credit hours. There are no separate lab fees. Lab bags, books, scrubs, stethoscope, etc is all extra.
