Hello everyone! I was accepted into the fall 2015 program as well. I will be taking the combined chemistry pre-req over the summer at Simmons too! I'm so excited to start!

Hello guys! I just found out I was accepted into the two year track as part of the Simmons Dix Scholars program to begin in the fall. I am thrilled!!! I checked for the Facebook group that someone made, but couldn't find it...I still have to send in my deposit. Anyone know when we register for classes? Is there an admitted students day this summer? Can't wait to meet you all!

Hi everyone!

Sorry to dig up an old thread but this is the most recent Dix Scholars thread I could find (wasn't able to locate a 2016 thread). I'm applying this year to the Fall 2016 accelerated track 14 month. I was wondering if any of you guys who were accepted would be willing to share your stats with me over pm or on the thread if you're comfortable. I have a few W's on my transcript and on the borderline B- / B this semester for chemistry and was wondering if that will negatively impact my application? I'm going to be taking the remainder of my prereqs at Simmons over the summer. My undergraduate grades are strong but chem is the most recent class I am taking so I don't know if they'll frown on a B-/B. Thank you for the feedback :)

Hi Lynn,

Sorry for the late reply. I could not find your 2016 thread so I will reply here. Congrats on your acceptance! I also will be starting the Dix Scholars accelerated program in the Fall :) The app process was pretty painless and I emailed the advisor constantly (she was very helpful). Overall, I'm really looking forward to attending!
