this is a silly question

Where do you get the necklace type things to hold your badge? I can't seem to find them. My school requires that we always have it on and I hate clipping things on myself. We also need it to get into parking lots, buildings and such(It doubles as an access card.) It would be more convienientt o not have to unclip it all the time.

Hi, I think you should be able to purchase them at Uniform shops. :)

I would try your local uniform shop, they usually carry them.

They also sell alot of novelty ones. I have a couple that bear the names of my favorite hockey teams. Makes for interesting conversations! I opened the nursery door once to a father holding a poopy diaper that screamed at me "THE RED WINGS ARE GOING DOWN!!!"

:chuckle :chuckle Happy searching!

i'm still amazed how i start to post and there aren't any responses and after clicking the "submit reply" button, "bam" there they are . :)

Those things are called "lanyards", why I don't know. We can't use them, have to clip our badges on. I guess the school is afraid a patient might strangle us.

You can also go to allhearts.com and they have a good selection of them as well......

I use a string of mardi gras beads to clip my name badge to!

if you already work in the health care setting, suggest to the next drug rep. that comes in that these things would be "handy" for the staff and be excellent advertising to boot. ;)
