Silly Question but I Don't Know How To Make A Resume

Published

The RN to BSN course I've been accepting in I noticed requires a resume in our file. Although I've got coreqs to finish and won't have to have a resume for a year, recent work problems made me realize I don't have, nor know how to do a resume.

I've been with this hospital for 13 years and did not give them a resume when I applied. The last resume I did was a brief one right out of nursing school.

Anyway, what's the best way to make a resume. What's the best resource for us nurses to use?

Are resumes necessary, or is the information on job applications enough?

Thanks for all the advice. I'll get started soon.

I think the only resume a nurse needs is to write "I am an RN" on any piece of paper. But seriously the advice given in the previous post was all good.
