Hey everyone! I didn’t see a thread for this year but I wanted to start one for this fall! I applied to Sierra College yesterday, has anyone else applied yet?

@scorpiodez she is going to chamberlain actually. She didn't meet points to apply at sierra ? but I'm gratefugratecan experience it together regardless of which schools were going to. Heck yeah you will!

I got in! Thank you for posting your acceptance Futurenurse0004! I am so excited for everyone that was also accepted and overwhelmed with grief for those that didn't. I wish there was room for everyone to be accepted and especially for those that have been trying for so long. Stay strong guys! It will happen!

I’m sorry if you guys didn’t get an email ? I know it’s heartbreaking but keep the dream alive and don’t give up!! I really hope everyone gets accepted next time! California is screwed up with their system though, for real

I'll be applying to the bridge program in April, so I remain hopefully even though it's a long shot. I'm hoping since campus is closed, they can still accept mail in apps ?

Does anyone know about how the alternates work? I know we have to do everything like the people admitted but curious as people decline do you just move up?

I think as people decline you move up. And I’m not 100% sure but I think I heard that alternates will roll over to the next admissions as a for sure spot. I would ask and double check though

Ya my paperwork says I am guaranteed a spot fall 2021 but have the opportunity for fall 2020 and Spring 2021 just was curious if it happens usually every round or if people usually don’t decline. And I think everyone has a number so there is still hope for those that didn’t get an email!

This is what I received today.

Yes, your application was received. I sent an email this morning to everyone who was randomly selected for the program. Your application was randomized to number 139. We accepted applications 1-38 into the program and 39-48 as alternates.

I see, if you didn’t qualify do they let you know? Like if you were missing paper work or classes
