Hello everyone! Thought I'd start a thread for everyone who is also applying to Sierra College for Fall 2016. We can help each other stay updated with any news, I know it definitely helps me through this long waiting period! We can also share knowledge if anyone has any questions about the application process! Good luck to all :)))

As an alternate, I think you're guaranteed a spot next year, if you don't get one this year.

Yep, I am, but I can't wait one more year :/ I think I should get into Delta College since it goes by merit. But it's more than an hour drive for me so I am really hoping for Sierra, but if not I will have to drive.

I can't believe it, but I got accepted into Sierra! I'm beyond elated and excited! Congrats to all who have gotten in & are alternates! I can't wait to meet everyone! :D

Did you try Delta college?? It's a community college too and they go 90% merit and 10% lottery!

I would but I live in Grass Valley and the drive is a stretch, not to mention I hear the program is impacted and their NCLEX pass rates aren't the best either. Thank you, though.
