Sierra College Fall 2016

Hello everyone! Thought I'd start a thread for everyone who is also applying to Sierra College for Fall 2016. We can help each other stay updated with any news, I know it definitely helps me through this long waiting period! We can also share knowledge if anyone has any questions about the application process! Good luck to all :)))

From my understanding no emails have been sent out yet. At least no one has posted that they got in yet...

My guess, if it's like last year, is the emails will be sent out on or by this Friday.

I hate the fact that they do not send out any communication unless you were accepted. I would rather receive a rejection email instead of continuing to hope I got selected.

Well, maybe we'll hear by tomorrow. If not, I am thinking Friday will be the day. Does anyone know how many qualified applicants they have? Do you think the number is higher than ARC?

They say on their website they have 400-500 applicants a year, they do not say that they are all qualified. I was reading that they notify within 4 weeks after the close of the application period. So I'm giving it til May 13th unless I hear otherwise.

I know that last year they received notice sooner than 4 weeks, so hopefully that pattern will continue this year. I wonder if Sierra has more applicants since they accept "lower" TEAS scores?

I thought both Sierra and ARC's TEAS score minimum was a 62?

Been watching this thread...patiently waiting myself! I turned in my application the first day we were able to so I am dying to find out! Fingers and toes crossed. Good luck to everyone! This is our time...I just feel it :)
