Lol. Oh wow. It's not negativity, it's realism. Stay on the forum for awhile, plus you haven't been a nurse that long.

Especially when a user goes out of her way to warn people of the dangers of the new PVT, then users don't even read that post. It gets old-fast.

Yes. Why bother reading if it doesnt catch your interest. Best example is our conversation. I bet nobody would try reading this since it wont benefit them at all.

Oh yea we're totally reading it!

I dont have to my dear. Ive been a nurse for 6 years. Out of US. But I have never been so arrogant and boastful of what I know. Last time I checked your comments in this post do not warn other members about PVT. Its about your "feelings" for people doing the PVT and reading posts like this. Just leave my dear. :)

Please, please don't go at each other, o.k.?

Just stop and either let the discussion continue or die out.

Congratulations to the OP for passing RN NCLEX.

I have been a nurse for 5 years. I never claimed to be expert on the subject, you were the one who gave me that title. But I have spoken to other users about the cons of using the PVT & why.

I'm allowed to have an opinion too.

Uh, I have a license. I didn't do the PVT (back when it actually WORKED), waited two days AND LIVED!

Two days?? Back in the Olden Days it took WEEKS and there was no way to find out sooner. By the time I got my results (via snail mail), I felt like I had really earned my license lol.

And I wish all the Special Snowflakes would quit whining-try sitting Boards over two days, five books (literally; Medical, Surgical, OB, Pediatrics and Psych), no stopping after the magical "75 questions", and why the HELL did the Peds book focus so much on liver disease in children when our rotation gave us one day of instruction on it!!??

lol. I know. I didn't know how fast Texas processes licenses or I would've checked the BON. But I don't remember being too much of a nervous wreck (needing to check something).

I think it's just the age we live in needing things right this minute. Don't you miss living before cell phones?

I'm so happy for you. It gives me hope. I recently took my exam on the 30th of June. It cut me off at 75 as well. I did the pvt the day of and the next day and got the "good pop-up". I'm currently am waiting on my 48 hours. I'm going to pay the $8. I'm so anxious it's awful that they put us through this lol. I'm suppose to start on job as a RN in a few weeks. My whole life just rest in the hands of these test results. #praying
