Hi everyone!
We are having a test coming up on muscles, their origins, insertions and functions. I made up my homemead flash cards and have been studying away. The problem is, the names are sooooo long, it's hard to try and associate it with something. Does anyone have any suggestions or websites that may be helpful? Thanks.

Well, I presume this is obvious but maybe not...
Be sure you say them out loud and be sure that you're saying them correctly.
Other than that... repetition...

I HIGHLY recommend this book for studying Anatomy. I used this in high school for A&P and Sports Medicine, and also for A&P at community college.

It's a coloring book and it has everything and really helped me a lot. I still have mine and plan to use it as a study aid taking A&P this time.

I just got through taking my Board Exam to be licenced for Massage Therapy. We were quizzed on that very thing, but in a more extensive way because that's what LMTs need to know most about... I suggest this awesome mnemonic device website: http://medicalmnemonics.com/
-The cool thing about the site is that you can search for ANY type of mnemonic device, but if you are looking for muscles in particular, just search for that topic. Good Luck to you... And when trying to pronounce these muscle names, brake it down into smart parts and think LATIN!
