When I was looking at Colorado, never was a 40 dollar an hour figure thrown about for almost all areas of CO. I am an ER nurse though so perhaps we are paid less. It may pay more in the times when there is no skiing, but Unless it si for an independent contracting contract, I have never sene rates that high
I worked in FL last year. I really enjoyed working on a CV Stepdown Unit in Ft. Myers, FL. It was at Healthpark Medical Center. The people on nightshift was great. The money was decent. I took the housing subsity from my company and rent a house in Cape Coral. It is an assignment I would consider returning too. Just an FYI they do the PBDS test. I understand most hospitals in FL does it now.
I hope this was helpful.

I've been in Colorado for 3 assignments now. Wanted to start traveling. I find that here in Colorado, I'm not making much more than back home. Now I realize that I'm not supposed to be making a crazy amount of money. I mean, it's really all about the experience. Right? But....I've been told that Colorado is not the state to make some green. So, I want to hear from the more experienced travelers. Where should I be if I want to make that green?
