:DHi guys
It's a lot quieter on here these days!
Wondered how many people there are out there that have had their GC Petition approved and still waiting patiently?
Also what is your date and how are you coping with the wait?
Are you in the US or somewhere else?
Silverdragon- I think I read that you were working in Canada now and had abandonned your GC for the US?
Liverpool Jane -how about you?
Anyone else out there in the same boat?

True, I am now living and loving Canada and cancelled my US petition back in 2008

GC Priority Date: June 2008
I am now practicing as an RN in Cayman Islands in the Carribean for three years now. Will be moving to Canada next year as I have gotten my permanent resident status there last year. Thinking of cancelling my GC petition as well.

I'll be destroying my GC at the Canadian border next week :)
Wish we could get more feedback here.
There were lots of RNs who used to post and all were in the same position.
Wonder what happened to everyone else?
The US should collect some data on number of RNs with priority dates.
Would be interesting to see how many have no interest in working in the US.
This GC wait may jump up and bite them on the bum when the real shortage of RNs hits.
Personally -If I get GC via DH then I think I might open an English tearoom!
Thanks to those who did reply.
Anyone else out there?
