:redbeatheHere goes :)...I want to take 3 pre-req classes in the summer at a CC. I will be taking Intro. to Sociology, Intro. to Psychology and Psychology: Lifespan Development. :heartbeat Do you guys think it would be hard to take the two Psychology courses together? OR should I take one in the summer and the other in the Fall? Since I'm currently not working and focusing completely on school I'd like to fill up the semsters with classes I need to get my pre-req's finished. I'm also thinking about throwing in a Medical Terminology class...Is Medical Terminology fairly easy? Let me know what you all think! I appreciate all answers :) :redpinkhe

How are your summer sessions set up? My school has either 5, 8, or 10 week courses. I'm taking Statistics (14 week online course with another school) and Human Development (5 week course) this summer. I've not taken 3 summer courses yet but I can imagine you'd pretty much be in class almost all day and week. I'd just take the 3 classes as I'm sure you're going to want some breathing room this summer. I'm also pretty sure you'll have a couple of essays to write for those classes. Either route you take remember that you want to keep your GPA up so that fourth class may make things a little more constrained. Good luck :)

I found the first three of those classes to be VERY easy. This is not to say they will be for you but for me they were. I have not taken Med. Term. (it is not required for us) I wouldn't worry too much about overlapping 2 psych classes. If you have the time to devote to 3 summer classes then I say go for it!

I'm surprised you can take Lifespan development before completing Intro to Psych. Usually you need to complete Intro before you can take any other psych courses.

It sounds like you're going to be in Hell if you try to do all of that in a summer session... Are these courses in different Summer sections, or all in one longer session?? Lifespan is a lotttttttt of reading...and for me it entailed three major major papers...

In any case... if you feel that you can truly absorb everything, then go-for-it, in my opinion. I think that terminology can wait.... don't stress :)

Best of luck ...and be careful not to overload.
