Should I take organic chemistry and anatomy and physiology I together?

So, I'm thinking about taking organic chem and a&p I at the same time next semester along with 1 or 2 other classes. I'm going to quit my part-time job and concentrate solely on these super hard subjects. I know it's a lot of memorizing and understanding, that's why I'll start preparing during winter break, but still I wanted to get some feedback from people who have already taken these classes. Is it doable?

It is true organic Chem in the sense that you've already passed General Chem 1 & 2? Or it is a survey class.

If it's a survey class go for it.

A&P with another science? I wouldn't do it. General Anatomy is VERY demanding, like 5 hours studying everyday and your taking the A&P with 1 or 2 other classes .. its doable but you'll never sleep lol.

It really just depends on your individual strengths as a student. (Helpful, I know.) If you're not going to have to work or take care of a family or anything like that it's probably within reason as long as you're the type of person who can catch on to new concepts and memorize large amounts of information quickly.

I took anatomy and organic chemistry (took two semesters of regular chem the year before) at the same time in Fall of my sophomore year, and the next semester it was microbiology and physiology. It's doable if you love that material (I did) and it will be over all at once if you don't. :)

I took A+P, Orgo, and Physics all in one semester. It really sucked but its doable!

I am taking A&P I and Organic Chemistry together right now. It totally sucks.

Chelsea13, it's not a survey class :x And I'm taking chem 100 right now. The nursing program I applied for requires only chem 100 and then organic chem. I don't love chemistry, but I don't hate it either. And I'm very interested in anatomy and physiology. I'm doing good in chem 100, but I know that organic chem is 10 times harder :/ I think that taking these 2 classes together is going to prepare me for the nursing curriculum which is pretty much going to be memorizing stuff almost 24/7 :dead: My goal is to get A's in both classes, I hope it's possible! Thanks for the feedback everyone!!
