I would speak with your nursing advisor and find out if a C will be competitive enough for entry into the program. In most programs, it will not be. In my program you must have a 2.75 to be able to submit an application, but admission cut with a 4.0GPA and A-average on the HESI entrance exam.
If you have the time/money I would consider retaking it. At my school A&P 1 concepts were necessary foundations to those in A&P 2 (IMO 2 is harder). Our school has a minimum gpa of 2.5, but I was told the average admitted was 3.4. Our college also takes into account TEAS scores and weights them equally against GPA. Anatomy is tough, so don't beat yourself up over it. At the very least, I would recommend reviewing old notes to gain a better understanding of anatomy so that anatomy 2 will go smoother. Good Luck!
If it were me ,I would retake it to get a higher grade , but like the first person said check the nursing program to see their rules on grades .
Should you decide to retake the course now, determine to get an A. Take the class by itself and do whatever it takes to get that grade up there.

For this summer, I do not know if I should retake Anatomy 1 for a higher grade just to be averaged with the C grade. Or just move on to Microbiology?
I have to have at least a 2.75 out of 4.0 for admission to the program, and am currently at a 2.75. Any advice?
