I took this class as a dual enrollment course, but only completed the first semester because I moved. I ended up getting a C in the class. I am currently in community college working on my prerequisites and signed up to take part two this coming semester. I was wondering if it would be smarter to retake the previous course next year, or if that would just put me behind. Should I just work hard for an A in part two instead?

I think it depends on yr school. At my school which is a comm college, they advise you not to retake and work hard for the A in A and P 2. They look at the amount of retakes and withdrawals. Again, it depends on the school. HTH!!
P.S. If it were me I would retake it because nursing school is soooo competitive.

Nursing school is competitive and many programs hold a lot of weight on the sciences as far as grades go. I would re-take A&P I and aim for an A, and then aim for an A in A&P II as well. Good luck.

I would retake to get an A in the hopes of keeping your gpa up for admission to school

I got a C in A & P I the first time around and I did take it again for the A and it was MUCH easier the second time around and after taking A & P II also.

If you would have got a B I would say no, with a C unless your other grades are As you should probably retake it.

Check with the schools you are applying for. I know many schools in in CA only look at your first grade so taking it over would be a waste of time and money.
