This is a short survey about job satisfaction for Registered Nurses. Please take a couple of minutes to answer a few questions using the link below. Your time is appreciated! Thank you!
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JobSatisfactionRN
This is for a research project being conducted by a graduate student from Western Governors University. This research project is being done to determine the most commonly cited source of job dissatisfaction among Registered Nurses, and determine if there is a relationship to autonomy in nursing.
Participation in this study will provide information necessary to identify the most common sources of job dissatisfaction, and any relationship to autonomous nursing. This may help organizations make necessary changes for improvement in these areas. This would be beneficial in improving working environments for Registered Nurses.
The results of this project will be posted on allnurses.com when complete.
Survey will be open through January 31, 2014. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey!

The only questions I got to answer were whether I am an RN (yes) and my age (greater than 56). I received the response that based on these answers I was not eligible to complete the survey. Is there something in your study that excludes either RNs or older nurses, and based on what?

I also was only allowed to answer the first two questions before I was booted out. What's up with that?

Assuming that RN is not the disqualifier, curious why the older age not acceptable. Older nurses either like or don't like their jobs too.

I'm really a truck driver called Fred. I won't bother.
Yo, OP. Could you please clarify the problem?

Well since I am an older nurse (almost 57) I won't even bother with it, at least, until the OP gives an explanation for the ageism.
