Yes, it was very good news. I'll be checking back today to hear that you got your good news and we'll be meeting at the orientation in June.
so
Did you apply to any other schools? Is Shoreline your first pick? And if so, why? (I still feel like I don't really know what I'm doing in this selection process.)
Congrats!
Shoreline was the only school I applied to because I need a part-time program. I previously was accepted into a full-time program, but had to decline. I'm 3 hours away from Seattle, so I'll be moving if I get in. If I don't get in, I think I'll get more volunteer hours and reapply in 2 years.
How many points did you have? I had 103, which I know is borderline.
WOOHOO! Journey, I am able to give you good news!!!
103 points was the lowest score for the fall 2012 6-quarter cohort. (Love that Shoreline gives us that info in the letter.) At the application info session, the speakers said that the 10-quarter cohort always has a lower cutoff. So you are IN, baby! Unless something very weird happens.
If you can find a place close to school and very, very cheap, let me know. My commute one way will be at least 1-1/2 hours by bus and depending on when our classes are scheduled, a long and miserable drive by SOV. I am seriously considering moving closer.
I am so happy for you! If you were a racehorse, I'd bet all my savings on you.
I'm in!! Tears of happiness! Min. points for 10 quarter was 103. I had 103!
YAY!!!! I am so happy for you!
I was as positive as can be that you'd get in since we have the same points, but there is nothing like knowing it for sure! Congratulations, well-done and good work.
Great thing about starting at the bottom of the class, we have nowhere to go but UP!

Has anyone gotten a decision letter? I called last Friday, and she said she was working on them.
Anxiously waiting!
