Shoreline CC Winter 2018

Published

Hi everyone who is applying for winter quarter at SCC! Thought I'd connect with you while we anxiously wait for our results in mid November. This is my second time applying and so I'm really hoping I make it this time (before I had a score of 102.5, now it should be 104.7). From what I understand, I am cutting it close to the previous quarter cut offs so we will see. Good luck to everyone else who is applying!

What about waitlist?? Didnt get placed on waitlist? That point minimum is very high! Last quarter was 104.55

I do not know about a waitlist.

Yes the cutoff was 105 and some change.

Just got my letter today. I was accepted.

Cutoff point was 105

Congrats!

Paige did you get your score?

Another high quarter. Maybe this is the new standard....

Did you get you your score.

Anyone else got their letter today?

Please keep us posted.

Hey! Didn't make it, but believe some points were not accounted for. Going to go to chat with someone next week:) if not, will make sure things are in order for Spring! My points should be at 105.9.

I had an issue with the points too, not all mine were accounted for, I know what happened or where they mis calculated so I have to call but even still, I didn't make it. Disappointed but will pick up and keep on trying. Good luck to all and congrats to those that made it!

Congrats Sean!

I got my letter today, even with 104.85 I didn't make the waitlist. I'll be applying next quarter to both the full time and part time programs. I've heard the point total is lower during years when they're accepting for both programs since they essentially accept twice as many people. I work full time nights at Evergreen Hospital so the part time program might be a better fit for me anyway!

Good luck to those that got in, for all the rest of you...let's start another thread for next quarter!

Thank you and please keep me posted. I would love to see all of you folks keep going.

Hey everyone! I also did not get in with my 104.8 points. After discussing it with my partner, I decided to go for a CNA license. It won't affect my application for spring, which I also plan to apply to, but would give me 107.9 points for fall. It seems like a lot since I will have to quit my job and work as a CNA to get the hours, but at this time we want to move forward and it will open the door for other programs as well. Congratulations to everyone who got in and keep trying everyone else!

Were any of you at the school today to talk to Lynn at around 1030am? I met with her briefly today at around that time and may have seen you there. If so, how did it go?
